FINANCIAL RELIEF WHEN YOU NEED IT
In these unusual times, when businesses are destroyed by tornados or shut down due to health crisis, there is relief for commercial businesses and others. Read your contracts and look for a Force Majeure Clause. A Force Majeure Clause is a contract provision present in most commercial contracts that excuses a party’s performance of its obligations under the contract when certain circumstances arise beyond the party’s control making performance inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible. It is currently a class A misdemeanor to operate some businesses due to the coronavirus. Others simply cannot open. You may be excused from financial obligations. Call us if you need any help getting through these hard times, we are still advising clients remotely. Stay well and take it one step at a time.
